Home Service Nerds didn’t start by accident, but we did sort of stumble into it.
As first- and second-generation tradesmen, we knew the power of the trades industries to American culture and society…
and we also knew the typical perception of the trades industry…
which we wanted to change and let the general public know how great these every-day servicers can be.
Before we knew it, we were a veteran-owned and operated business in the Upstate, with a skillset that allowed us to grow quickly and capitalize on decades of expertise, problem solving capabilities, and skill.
But our focus is much bigger than our own bottom line.

It’s on making sure that our customers and local homeowners have the information they need to make the right decisions for their home,
and to have someone they trust in their corner to help them when something goes wrong.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could.To be honest, after a truly horrific experience with another company, which kept us hanging for two weeks with no air conditioning, and then said they weren't going to do the work anyway, I picked this company because of the name.I called them Monday morning. Brad was here within three hours. He did the diagnostic work the other company hadn't, or hadn't got right, told us he had to order the part, told us the price (lower than the other guys), told us getting the part wouldn't be a problem, and was here Tuesday morning before nine. Wow! He then worked hard for over three hours - and then we heard the joyous sound of the compressor coming on. It'll be in the 90's by the end of the week, and we don't care.We are so grateful to Brad, to this company; they couldn't have done better, and they are our HVAC servicers for life. I think I'll send them cookies.

Called around to a couple companies. Was very pleased with HSN from the moment we called. Came out to give a free second opinion and estimate on a Sunday and scheduled an install that next week. Communication was a strong point with working with them. Would highly recommend.

So the service technician arrived promptly to my residents. It took all of 5mins for the technician to diagnose the problem!! And the price was most definitely right, I would give 10 stars if I could!!
I called Home Service Nerds when my AC stopped working on Friday afternoon. The Technician arrived promptly on Saturday morning. The prices are more than reasonable!! These guys are a diamond waiting to be discovered. Give them a try.
Super quick to respond when we called for service! Both guys that came out were very professional. AC had frozen up and couldn’t be fixed the first day but they scheduled for someone to return the very next day and repaired it. All positive interactions!
Zach came to our home to give us an estimate for finishing our basement. We don’t know exactly what we are doing and he was very patient with us and kept our budget in mind while giving us the best service. He explained everything well and was a joy to talk with. I highly recommend!!
Our HVAC went out and we were referred to this company by our electrician. Home Service Nerds were at our home within 24 hours of giving them a call and worked diligently to find the cause of the issue.We used them to replace the HVAC unit and were very impressed with their knowledge and expertise with explaining everything, their efficiency with installing the new unit, as well as their professionalism. These guys are fantastic! Their normal hours are set up to cover normal “emergency situations “… Saturday morning when everyone else is closed. they worked us in and was able to immediately diagnose our problem. Got the parts ordered and voila…. We have AC… will definitely use them in the future. The technicians Brad and Vince were very knowledgeable, polite and great to work with!!!
Home Service Nerds did an amazing job at my home. I wanted to do an industrial style of ceiling in my basement but had a bunch of hanging, drooping exchanges in the ceiling. Service Nerds put in all new exchanges and tidied up the ceiling so I could have it painted black and look more modern. They also brought in more air flow to make the main unit more efficient and extend its life. They were fast, thorough, super professional and did a great job. I highly recommend Service Nerds!

Hi, I just wanted to express my gratitude toward your technicians Mathew and Brian. My wife and I waited a couple of months to write a review to ensure that repair was satisfactory. We had no heat from our heat pump, and temperatures were begin to drop. You were able to schedule us the same day, Mathew came out and diagnosed problem and said it were best to get more research on code error code on system. The next day he came back very confident and explained what needed to be done. Luckily our warranty was near its end and they did everything in a timely manner in order get everything repaired before warranty ran out. They were very professional, courteous and respectful as well as very considerate with our belongings and home, despite the heavy and difficult piece of equipment that had to be lifted up into attic. Long story short, we now have heat better than ever and we are very happy and grateful for their honest and good work. They will continue be our number one choice for Hvac needs in the future.Thank You kindly
I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. I can’t believe I’m going to say this - but I am so happy I had an AC emergency this summer! The yearly maintenance program you can be a part of is great, and all of the service men who have come out to my home have been beyond professional. Matthew McCall has been here several times and he is absolutely fantastic. If you have a need, call this place…they are exceptional!

Shannon in the office followed up quickly and was also extremely helpful.Update: The guys came in this morning and installed in one day. They were efficient and friendly all while showing respect to our living space. Before leaving, they demonstrated how everything worked and they cleaned up. I would recommend their work to anyone.
Matthew did a great job at our house. Everything is done perfectly within two days (diagnosis, quote and service). He is very professional and polite. He walked in with prepared shoe covers without being asked, and handled things with extra careful. This company and their services are highly recommended!
